Nope. Trump may exaggerate wildly but his policies were net good for America - until he let that swine Fauci and tyrant Birx shut us down. Huge mistake, but Biden is 100x worse on that and 1000x worse on everything else.
“Let’s get this out of the way upfront. Right now, I am straight up anti-partisan, not simply non-partisan. I am on Team “None of the Above” for 2024 and loathe ALL of the candidates.”
Well partner, it feels good proclaiming a pox on the houses of both parties, but someone is going to run the show in the meantime. But I get it, political narcissism of the sort you advocate does make one feel good about oneself. And that's the most important thing, I guess.
I'm not your partner and don't appreciate your condescending nonsense. Attitudes like this, that accept the status quo and say "well, someone's gonna run this thing" without giving a shit how corrupt they are, is the reason we are where we are. Thanks for that. For doing nothing but shitting on the people fighting for higher standards.
Accept the status quo? I'm not doing that at all, I'm voting for Trump. He is the opponent of the status quo. We know this because of the great lengths said status quo is going to in order to bring him down.
But I'm guessing you disagree with that. Fine. Ok, partner, what's your solution/ who are you backing? What are these "higher standards" to which you refer? Because if you don't have a firm plan, you are, as I said, just a political narcissist who is chiefly concerned with adoring that person gazing back at you in the mirror.
Sad that you think Trump still isn't a steward of the status quo. I'd have thought that 4 years of doing what he's told would have taught you by now. Guess not. He locked up Assange. He murdered Solemani (who was our ally BTW). He moved the embassy to Jerusalem on Adelson's demand. He put Wilbur Ross and Carl Icahn, two predatory sharks, in charge of commerce. Please wake TF up and start fighting the DUOPOLY. That includes Boobie Kennedy & Trump - the "outsiders" that got phenomenally wealthy on their names & inheritances.
Pfft. Whatever Trump did or did not do in terms of Assange, et al (fun fact: "Trump" did not pursue Assange, his DOJ, which he had little control over, did that), you have not explained why The System would spend literally billions of dollars in an effort to destroy him.... that's the bottom line.
OK OK, "fight the duopoly"--you still have not said with/by whom.
Trump literally oversaw the operation that had Assange removed from the Ecuadorian Embassy and then didn't issue a pardon on the way out. He also gave Pompeo permission to plot to murder Assange as he was being taken out of the embassy, that was published in 2021. But he had little control, right?
You're embarrassing yourself.
We fight the duopoly by not joining it.
There is no "celebrity leader" that isn't compromised, co-opted or manipulated.
I am team "None of the Above" because the people running this country aren't the President, as proven by the brain-dead fossil currently occupying the White House.
OK I guess. But in choosing not to decide, you still have made a choice. Not voting for either of the top two contenders effectively aids the incumbent and hurts the challenger.
That was purposeful. Just seeing if you were paying attention. Otherwise agree. My personal exercise of free will is to vote for the lesser evil, and pray that your non-vote does not end up with a second Biden term. And since when is lesser evil logic a bad thing?
because it’s still signing off on evil vs fighting it
I live in NJ so Biden will likely win my state anyway. 80% of states are pre-decided and announced as soon as polls close. Because we live in a “democracy,” right?
Damn right!!! I feel I have a unique and special opportunity with all who been in my ear my entire adult life to ask if they’re ready to offer me more lecturing. From professors, to lame bosses, to fair weather “friends”, girlfriends and family members. I’ve always viewed our federal pimps and weak ass, spineless bitch boy presidents as thieving lying bastards… BECAUSE they are!
I’m no angel. I’ve totally lied to people. And even screwed people over on deals and such. And I’ve certainly died a coward’s death one too many to count…. But those ways and actions didn’t destroy millions of peoples lives, and certainly not willfully. Then ya hear the whole “we can’t handle truth” hardline about tough decisions. There we go again, talked down to like I’m a fuckin child. Maybe try that on us when you’re not taking all the wealth from us. If they can’t play us straight why honor any of it?
I used to “get schooled” on how wreckless and immature and uneducated I was being to not vote for presidents. How I’m shitting on all the named and unnamed hero’s that fought and gave their lives for my right to vote. What a way to shame a family member and friend.
at this point, approaching 40 in days, I pat myself on the back for having conviction and agency in all past elections and solidifying that now 1000 fold for the rest of my blessed days. It’s almost entirely rigged and has NEVER served or been about “we the people”, since I started questioning the pledge of allegiance in grade school, and quite arguably before that. I’m not saying I hate America, I don’t. but I am saying to hell with all the people who’ve bastardized it to this day. And there’s plenty of them…. I cant wait to not vote. I’m so excited I get to not give a shit and feel SUPER GREAT about it. YaY for me and anyone with the same mindset. Live your life, pray for hope, treat the people you meet with humbling dignity, and simply ignore the turds in suits asking for your vote. They’re useless, desperate, despicable and totally undeserving of our attention and support. I don’t anticipate that changing anytime soon. Just my too sense.
Yet some are worse choices than others. I'm glad Al Gore never became President. But there were some Florida voters to my left that may not have voted, and, realized too late that their vote may have mattered when Florida was decided by 537 votes. But as long as you're good with either man winning, no one can persuade you to vote.
Just doing my best to persuade with logic. I know that NJ is highly likely to vote for the Dem nominee in high enough percentages such that it would appear that voting for anyone else is fruitless. The same was thought in Florida in 2000. The same was thought in North Carolina and Florida and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in 2016. If logic isn't enough, I thought, wrongly, that an appeal to emotion (a logical fallacy) might work - the emotion being the fear of feeling absolutely sick to your stomach after refusing to vote, and only finding out after the fact that your vote could have prevented the greater of two evils from obtaining the highest office in the land. But apparently there are a number of political gadflies (defined as those who are critics of all candidates, but don't seem to have better offer to make - I prefer the term gadfly to narcissist) among the group in this thread, so, you're right about not being able to reason with a political gadfly.
You’re half right.
Now say the same about Republicans and pledge to vote for neither, convince everyone around you & we’re getting somewhere.
Fuck. The. Duopoly. (Because it’s a farce & a front for oligarchy & corporatocracy)
Nope. Trump may exaggerate wildly but his policies were net good for America - until he let that swine Fauci and tyrant Birx shut us down. Huge mistake, but Biden is 100x worse on that and 1000x worse on everything else.
done!
(except the part about convincing, I only preach in the Substack comments section...;))
Voting for RFK, Jr, are you? I might consider that, but he might not be on my ballot. Their ground organization has been slow to the extreme.
HAAA yeah no

You still haven't answered who "us" is.
You make strong claims, but I see no documentation of them. You are the one who is embarrassing themself.

you just quoted Rush! @Alexander Hellene
“If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice!”
I will choose Freewill
You’re voter shaming using Lesser Evil Logic.
Both are evil, and Biden may possibly be the more evil.
I'm voting on my state referendums. And "None of these Candidates" on everything else.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill...those both seem better than the actual party choices
That was purposeful. Just seeing if you were paying attention. Otherwise agree. My personal exercise of free will is to vote for the lesser evil, and pray that your non-vote does not end up with a second Biden term. And since when is lesser evil logic a bad thing?

Alright my friend. But if Biden is re-elected by only a slim majority in NJ, I hope you'll be able to live with that. I would be kicking my self.
I'm good with that. He's not winning by 1 vote. Or even 1000.
We all know it.
Or the DNC lawfare campaign against him is working?
Doesn't seem to be after delaying the thing until September and his fundraising dollars going up every time there's a new charge
