Sleep apnea is not a disqualifying condition if you are already in the service. Not having one is life threatening.
There are a lot of things that will disqualify you at MEPS that doesn't stop you from re-enlisting. HBP would keep you from enlisting, you can continue to serve if it develops with you are still in.
Thanks, itтАЩs been over 10 years but when I was in, Obstructive Sleep Apnea that required a CPAP machine could make you non-deployable. I participated in at least two boards (MEB/MRB) to review deployability for individuals with sleep apnea and other conditions.
