Who is they ? One person accused him of being a gang member and that person is in up state New York. He’s never even been to up state New York. “They “ could be full of shit or mixing him up with someone else. There’s a reason why we use the guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He’s been in the country for 14 years and has no criminal record. What gang banger goes 14 years without getting arrested for even something small. You guys are all wrong on this one. Does he deserve to get deported ? I don’t think so but maybe. The point is that he deserves a fair trial to decide if he does. He sure as hell doesn’t deserve to be locked up im one of the worst prisons In the world. Can everyone put aside your political bias and just have a little bit of empathy for the guy. Sure he broke the law by coming here illegally . Like no one this forum hasn’t broken the law. I suppose you all think that the January 6 terrorist deserved to be pardoned but fuck this guy right ? The punishment does not fit the crime.

They is our government and the government of El Salvador. So what happens when El Salvador decides to do what they want to do with their own citizen. They may not let him go. This is so bizarre.

Our government admitted it was a

Mistake. Our judges said there was no proof that he was. El Salvador just rounds people up without due process so what the hell do they know. Come on man.

Again he is a Salvadoran citizen in that country’s jail. Why is a U.S. Senator going to a foreign country to ask them to release him? This guy is not Nelson Mandela!
