Not totally delusional. The Republican Party started out as a "third party" in the middle of the 19th century.

The Republican party only worked because the Whig party had the decency to dissolve when it became terminally split over the question of slavery. What remained were two major parties, the Dems and the Republicans. So, yeah, totally delusional.

3 referendums have passed in my school district in the last 5 years. $240M here, $62M there and $16M in perpetuity.

My mortgage will be paid up next year. My property taxes have gone up by a little over 50%.

I can't take referendums to pay for candidates I mostly loathe on top of that.
