I would hard-question them (what flight, which airline, from which to which airports, where is your receipt, did you report it at the time, what evidence can you bring to show we were ever on a flight together, etc. ad infinitum and perhaps ad nauseam) until they gave it up as a bad job. I'd have made a quite decent attorney, but as with medicine, I could not have handled the responsibility.

Yeah -- that's what Trump thought when E. Jean Carroll started spouting off.

Now he's an "adjudicated rapist," whatever that is.

A New York jury, with the judges they have, would convict Donald Trump of masterminding the Kennedy assassinations (both of them), that of Dr. King, and the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack just for good measure.

I speak with some authority, having lived more than half my life in NYC and its environs. Now happily transplanted to small-town Maine.

There are still some pockets of sanity remaining - viz. Kyle Rittenhouse's very proper acquittal on all charges.

I do believe Trump that the odds are very good that the verdict will be overturned, or the case disqualified. Same with the case of "fraud" over inflated real estate values. Not only were the judges biased anti-Trump politicos and the juries corrupted, but evidence and testimony that should not have been allowed was allowed, and others that should have been allowed where disallowed.

That will depend a lot more than it should on the particular NY State judge(s). Any trust I have in New York State governance is as vestigial as my tail.
