Compare Jan. 6 with a real coup. . . say, the military juntas organized by the U.S. against "leftist" (democratically elected) regimes in developing (i.e. soon-to-be-developed by U.S. corporate interests) nations. I watched the Jan. 6 "insurrection" on TV and was amazed at how the narrative was rewritten by the DNC/MSM long after "insurrectionists" had gone home. The single fatality was a heart attack. The militants had forgotten (apparently) to bring along their guns. American history is rich in insurrections of this kind. Always the cause was just. Usually the story got rewritten, the single exception being the Boston tea party.
