Early on in the Ukraine proxy war I commented at NYT, which has been promoting obvious war propaganda from the start, and was promptly banned from Twitter.
@Nytimes Ukraine is a proxy war propped up by our CIA and Pentagon to destabilize Putin. We want Ukrainians to die to create a failed state on Russia's border.

I think my comment was completely correct and is proven by the US resistance to negotiations, but more importantly it is my opinion as an American citizen and I am entitled to express it.
After today's drop from Shellenberger, it's remarkable that there is 1) smoking gun evidence of the government paying Twitter to censor speech and 2) the pin drop silence from legacy/lazy media that can't run from this story fast enough. Makes you wonder how deep the FBI might have slipped it into their carcasses, too. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Except that legacy media is dying, which kinda makes this a necrophilia adjacent event.
In a quasi-democracy, where people still get to vote, control of opinion and thought is critical to the deep and enduring powers. Old media, complicit media, are central to that effort. I often mention my friend who still believes all their lies and nothing I say or do can shake him out of that tree.
Opinions endure ,even in the face of overwhelming evidence proving them wrong. Yuri Bezmenov was 100% correct. You could show someone a Soviet concentration camp and many still wouldn't believe what happened there.
Musk has been banning accounts critical of the Ukraine war. Not much attention has been paid to this but that fact has made it clear that Musk is doing something with Twitter..it’s just not what we think and he’s not letting on what his real goals and interests are.
I disagree with your statement. The Pentagon absolutely knew an invasion was coming and made no attempt to ease tensions. Ukraine wouldn’t last 5 minutes without US and NATO support. If we wanted this to stop, it would.

The NYT has supported every single US war and intervention.
It's literally their role in the great psychodrama.

Yet still, millions of people still believe.
That is changing though.

Hearst infamously used his megaphone to start a war on Spain.
This is why people like CIA agent Bezos buy media orgs, it's very simple, they use them for thought control. And it works too.
Elon Musk's goal is to further the interests of Elon Musk.
Musk, Trump, all of them.
You don't get to the top unless you have a monomaniacal focus on one thing and one thing only, "me!"
The crazy sad thing is how few seem to apprehend these facts.
I'm also wondering whether he's just experimenting with the algorithms at the moment.
Elon will tackle the algorithms as soon as he's finished making the M-80s.
Exactly
So the government is spying on Twitter and Twitter is spying on the New York Times. What, me worry?
