Uh, just because you have a driver's license . . . Polling places aren't like McDonald's. You are supposed to vote where you reside. And, no voting more than one time.
Since I have never cast a provisional ballot, I don't know if or how different jurisdictions explain where they go. Seems fair to ask if it was counted or not. And, why.
But one way to take out the uncertainty is to take it seriously.
Here is an example just for fun i decided to go and vote in last election
Basically I flip a coin when I get to the polling booth
I was told I was not on the voting registry that’s not possible as I have a state drivers license
So I was told I need to fill out a special ballot and it would go in another box and they would decide if my vote counts
Based on my racial profile and age and gender I believe my ballot was discarded
We need a way to look up how we voted to ensure the system is honest
