I too am questioning the balance in the reporting here now. A longer quote about how Musk was not elected was displayed but then they failed to counter quote with the most eloquent available response by Stephen Miller. A longer quote about how Musk was not elected was displayed but then they failed to counter quote with the most eloquent available response by Stephen Miller. As a matter of fact, there are a LOT of influential and thought provoking quotes countering everything reported in today’s article that were completely ignored while the democratic opinion was prominently displayed. That’s the kind of bias I am trying to get away from and I’m a bit rattled to find it here. I just subscribed yesterday and am wondering if I should even keep it.
It’s just striking to me when a news organization gives a clear, logical argument from the left but fails to provide the clearest most logical arguments that the right has, and instead chooses to use a flippant short quote to give the impression they have no good argument. That’s the practice of someone trying to push an agenda. That’s NOT journalism, that’s activism.
I prefer hearing the best arguments from BOTH sides and then let me marinate and come to my own conclusions - don’t lead me.
This article REPEATEDLY represents the Democrat perspective without an equally balanced conservative point of view - as if they don’t exist. Shame on them. This is why we condemn legacy media and left them. Spoiling good independent media with the same tactics will only lead to us burning the ground they stand on and salting the earth beneath them too.
I've been saying that for a few years now. Given the number of commenters with Nazi and authoritarian sympathies on this site, Taibbi & Co really oughta be more accommodating to them.
Perhaps a positive review of Mein Kampf might keep you coming back for more?

Has Matt hired Nellie Bowles?
You fancy Nellie, yes?
To no avail if I did.

Maybe a balance with the Biden Admin that allowed 53 Chinese students full access to the social security data two years ago?
