I think you are referring to capitalism, not democracy.

ThatтАЩs the experience of a person that understands a free market makes democracy flow. IтАЩve seen communism, up close. Even when the leaders of a communist block, use graft, and self-aggrandizement to give them power and control.

Capitalism is like gravity - you can fight it all you want, but itтАЩs a force you cannot free yourself from, because it makes all things run.
