Harris is notorious for only engaging in debates he's going to win on his terms and cancelling publication if he's not satisfied with the outcome and, if all else fails, acting all hurt and mistreated.
I'm with Dennett on both free will and consciousness. But really, philosophy can be a bummer and repulsive to the extent that it's intellectual oneupmanship.
