I wouldn't call myself a "fan." I never listened constantly, but I listened often over the years and if you DID, you'd hear him talk to a liberal or just discuss real observations of things and he'd see things other people didn't. He was surprising. He was respectful to every caller unless they lied about what they were going to talk about. He was entertaining. And he was funny. And if you listened ENOUGH, you could see what a good heart he had. But even his picking on liberals was more lighthearted than what comes back from them. He was a true critical thinker--he just concluded different things than progressives. And he was the first person who pushed back on them. Liberals think only THEY should have a place to talk. He was the first conservative voice in news. He made a few big mistakes, apologized for a few. But people talking about him like this says more about them than about him. Again, we did no such thing when Ginsberg died and many people ocnsidered her a murderer. You just don't say things like that.

Sorry - who did Ginsberg murder?

You know very well what I'm talking about. Pro-life people viewed her that way and nobody did this to her when she died.

How many times did she dance on other people's grave on air ?

PLEASE. So would have to hear the whole thing myself before I believed your characterization. But let's say you are right. Ginsberg was responsible for killing millions of babies. ACtually KILLING them. DUH. But of course, that doesn't matter to you people. Though I am reluctantly pro choice through TEN weeks. TWELVE outside for a lot of reasons. A heartbeat would be a good cutting off point. And now we're going to kill them right up to and the moment of birth -- something you wouldn't do to a dog. Barbarism.

And no excuse for it. Rush might have made a mistake (I would have to hear it), but nowhere near the mistake SHE made. Not even legislated by our elected officials. Legislated from the bench. So don't virtue signal to ME. You people, tons of you, celebrate having abortions like it's the most wonderful thing in the world, celebrate the stupidity of doing such a thing more than one time! And as appalling as find all that, we didn't behave like that we when Ginsberg died. But you all should be careful. Some people become more powerful after they are dead as you should all know, especially when attacked like this. So keep up the stupidity. I see a lot of people are going to stop subscribing. I won't, because of the last article Matt wrote, hope he makes a difference to people like you, but I might not bother to read him anymore. But I'll support his right to write stupid shit like this because that is the point.

Being pro birth is the ultimate virtue signaling and has been for decades now.

Rush had decades of blathering stupid divisive shit that enriched him a great deal.

Hopefully Rush will be the reason people stop listening to people like Rush.

That would be powerful.

I wouldn't count on it. Tucker Carlson is close, not as fascinating, but maybe even a more critical thinker. He is probably the one. Mark Levin is close to Rush and Mark Stein. There are some others and they will up their game. I love how you liberals think that somebody actually voicing an opposite opinion from yours is "divisive" and should be shut down --as if YOU aren't the most divisive people on the planet. How DARE these idiot people actually dare to have another political opinion and voice it. How dare anyone question or debate you especially since you can't do it so your response is to censor people. We should all bow before you people. Well, Rush is a big loss, but there will be other voices. And at least people in the middle standing up to your crap. Like Glenn Greenwald. Here is what you people are like. You think it's ok to have Republicans as long as they pretty much agree with you. Like Romney and McCain and Bush. But if they are patriots or populists, they must be demonized and shut down. Pro birth is virtue signaling. You must be kidding.

Why don't YOU sit in on one of those abortions and watch it and say that. Human life means nothing to you but carry on because Rush thought a gay lifestyle was not conducive to peoples' health and didn't think it was normal. He killed NOBODY. Before a heart beat should be legal, afterward, only for life of the mother or other extenuating circumstances.

When did I say shut anyone down ?

Why don't you adopt some of those crack babies ??

Why are you virtue signaling me into believing you know what God's will is ?

Who the fuck are you to decide what God's will is for a total stranger ??

Ok, why don't YOU stand there while they kill a full term baby? Just how does that happen? Do they take it out of woman's womb in sections and dump it in a bucket? Do they take it out whole and inject it with poison, smother it? Would you do that to a dog? You are the same people who would object to mishandling of ANIMALS but it's fine to do this to humans! It's outrageous. It's common sense. I don't claim to know God's will. Any FOOL can see this is barbarism. But then maybe you aren't just ANY fool. I have a son with Down Syndrome. It's almost shocking to think people will kill wonderful people like him for just that handicap. Of course, we will perfect people soon with trans-humanism. I'm sure you're for that, too. Who the fuck are UNELECTED court justices to decide (based on PRIVACY), instead of legislated that full term babies should be murdered on operating tables?

If it's in the past it's God's will. He either is all powerful or he is fake. Take your pick.

Now stop virtue signaling and pretending you know what God intended.

It's no different than a fetus dying in a car accident or some asshole beating a woman or pushing her down some stairs.

You don't get to punish women for their decisions.

You either believe in God's plan or you think he's incompetent and that you need to take over for him.

Oh my God. Of course, it's different. You must be out of your mind. I'm not punishing women for their decisions--they even need to be protected from them or at least educated. I am for abortion before a heartbeat for health and other reasons where I don't want that decision taken from her, but late term abortion is fucking ridiculous and ANY reasonable person knows that. And if it's going to be legal and taxpayers are going to fund it like they are again, it should be legislated by people we VOTE for, not poorly decided by activist courts on obsure reasons that are almost ludicrous. It has not a thing to do with GOD, so no idea why you keep bringing that up. I'm not religious. (i'm spiritual, but totally anti-organized religion, so give it a fucking rest) This is about basic decency and common sense and not brutally slaughtering babies. We have a process for amending the constitution and that was the most poorly decided decision in American history and probably primarily the root of the divisiveness in this country. Something like that should be decided by the people or at least elected officials, NOT an unelected liberal activist court. And killing late term babies is nothing short of murder. Show up and watch it. Not to mention there are a lot of women living with having abortions and feeling later it was murder. Now they don't even want to give women proper counseling. Again, NONE of you would do this to a dog. And you know it.

This is abortion crap. I'm way beyond caring about the right and wrong of that, sounds like something for Solomon if we deal with the other thousand problems that are more urgent. Snuffing the unborn is less significant than the snuffing of the born, if we can't agree on that then all hope is lost.
