Surprised how few commenters are weighing in on the uncovering of government interference in the Twitter Files. Curious if the major shift of Taibbi's audience to Democratic (not necessarily left-wing liberals) has cut the number of comments due to the oblique criticisms of Establishment Democrat policies against Republican (Russian!!!) free speech. Do they feel that social media before Musk took over Twitter was proper and that the federal bureaucrats should control politics in the US? Is/was Trump an existential threat (before he became the first Jewish President, according to "ex-"CIA Philip Giraldi) to the Establishment? Do they still dismiss the Twitter Files, Russiagate and (from my scientific background) the Covid debacle?
Or do they believe that the transparently corrupt Trump administration is somehow much more dangerous than the secretive corruption based on war profiteering and money laundering which has been the touchstone of our UniParty since at least WWII, where being elected/ appointed to federal office is the surest way to fame and fortune since manufacturing, industry and innovation has been dumped offshore?
