I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any terrorist org's t-shirt. Who knows who the terrorist sympathizer vs the terrorist is and I would not want to be mistaken for one over the other. No one should be surprised that choices made could lead to questions being asked. My educated guess is that one will only receive that knock if the authorities information the t-shirt.

Al Qaeda (and ISIS, al Nusra, et al) have been exposed as OUR (CIA's) headchoppers all along, since they were brought into Afghanistan with our "hero" Osama bin Laden under Carter. One of their worst, al Julani, is now a US puppet dictator in Syria.

Within the US, cheering is for US citizens only. Foreign students who participate in influencing American politics have just destroyed the validity of their student visa and of being here at all. Under existing law, the Sec. of State can have them summarily deported.
