I already have a few quotes from your speech printed out and attached to my office walls. One is: "Motherfucker. I am an American." And the other starts something like ...'there is a bit of asshole in all Americans and that's a good thing ..". I am paraphrasing. The exact quotes are in my office, and I just had surgery and can't get there easily right now. The surgery and walker are why I wasn't in DC in person.

Agree wholeheartedly! The reason why Matt's talks and speeches work so well is precisely because he is not a trained speech-giver. He's a writer through and through. His passion comes through in his authenticity. Watching his journey over the past several years is inspiring and to be honest, a bit unnerving. He's becoming louder and and more passionate the more frustrated he becomes. And he, among many of those speakers yesterday, has a right to be frustrated and mad - as hell and he's not going to take it anymore!*
You Matt, and all the speakers and rally goers today are made “For such a time as this” I never in a million years thought I’d be alive to see the fall of our Republic, but here we are, on the precipice. Hammer duly in hand, as Walter suggests, ready to stand arm and arm with my fellow Americans to send some fuckers to the sun. (Metaphorically speaking of course) Best line of the entire rally today Matt. I couldn’t be there, but I live streamed the entire day and am grateful for every person who showed up, spoke and sang. Job well done!
I hope your children are very proud of their dad! Your offspring will have, among many things, this video to look back on through the generations. Well done, sir!
