The zinc thing (early - as soon as you suspect a cold) is real. And I'm generally a skeptic. It either holds it off or it becomes a nothing-burger. We have it in the house after it was recommended by a doctor on a podcast.

What form of zinc does the body best absorb? I believe zinc as protected and helped me too, when I've caught stuff, but I never know which form to buy.

Zinc Bis-glycinate 50 is what was recommended. So 50mg per capsule. And you take it with food for about 5 days.
