This is a great idea. The marketplace of ideas should be open and transparent for all -- and it's clear that the 'fact-checkers' are nothing but narrative pushers designed to give the 'experts' something to point at.
It's one of the cheapest Thanksgivings ever, if you just use cherry-picked numbers that assume everybody has the exact same experience in today's America! Did you actually spend MORE on Thanksgiving this year than ever before? That's dangerous misinformation!

Exactly. And a way to make it *fully* transparent is to, in some coherent way(s) TBD, start to align all claims, counterclaims, and evidence in true adjacency.
For example, use multiple implementations of AI to sort and re-order target discussion logic and sources, and also (somehow) the meta issues of each AI. Neither simple nor straightforward, but necessary and certainly doable in the ongoing computer age.
As it is, we are still mostly mired in print/video single-stream presentations, while conversational presentations such as X rely only on user-driven sequencing and branching. Time to use AI to really grow beyond that.
I would like a site where censored posts could be published for comment by the potentially offended audience. The WSJ censored yet another of my comments today on their book review alleging Woodrow Wilson was a "passive homosexual" who destroyed the modern world because of his sexual perversity. I made the relatively tame observation that an entire history could be written about the parallels between Wilson and Biden. For example, Wilson developed dementia after being infected with the Spanish Influenza (1918 equivalent of Covid) and his dementia led to his geopolitical blunders at Versailles. Wilson's dementia worsened after his subsequent stroke when his wife and advisors ran the government for him. I noted that Wilson was paranoid and prosecuted his political enemy Eugene Debs under the Sedition Act but could not stop Debs from running for President in 1920. All of this was historically true yet it was censored as too scandalous for WSJ readers who had just been informed Woodrow Wilson was a "passive homosexual." These acts of "journalistic" repression occur thousands of time each day without repercussions other than the justifiable loss of all confidence in the legacy media. I propose a site for posting censored comments to embarrassing the alleged news organization that suppress interesting and true information in the name of decency.
Just for fun, I used to take screenshots of my comments (mostly about Skripal affair nonsense and "last hospitals in Aleppo" etc.) in The Guardian and just for fun count how many minutes did it take for them to completely vanish - not even a trace. I might still have a few around.
My scientist friends and I used to have the same experience with CORRECT Covid comments (still cannot believe the federal government/ Pfizer/Moderna) could claim their pitiful Spike Protein mRNA vaccines produce more effective immunity than REAL natural infection immunity. Simple, dangerous novel technology vs an immune system that evolved over thousands of millennia). You cannot speak truth to power any more!
YouTube in particular became more clever. All of us could see our own comments, but not each others.

To have you and other courageous and principled journalists, who are/were left of center report the horrors we are currently living through, despite the avalanche of censorship, shaming, deception, threats, blacklisting, and cancelling, speaks volumes about your character. My favorite writers on Substack now nearly all once leaned left, so I find their voices to be the most authentic and transformational. This includes long time journalists and writers, scientists, and doctors, among others. We truly are all in this together. Thank you for your committment to the truth.
