03/05/24: If they run out of things to talk about, branch out and discuss the possibility that there's a very good chance in 2024 that the Phillies and the Dodgers WON'T make the MLB playoffs (last day of the regular season is September 29th).
I respect the fans, and that compliments the method of my research: My speculation about the Phil-Dodge double-flop is based solely on impersonal data generated by a bloodless software program.
Last night, I mentioned the possibility to a bartender and he recoiled, which is when I realized that each year, very few people realize / remember how things can change so dramatically (witness the 2023 Yankees humongous payroll-handicapped faceplant --- and the no-respect Orioles winning that division. BTW, the O's look sick this year).
Have Trump hold a rally during the evening of March 7th --- and give a speech DURING THE STATE OF THE VEGETABLE (Union) ADDRESS. Embarrass the 1600 Cadaver.

The FBI, CIA and NSA just issued a joint statement that the recent Supreme Court decision to allow Donald Trump on the ballot shows all the hallmarks of classic Russian disinformation.
Could you both make some tinfoil hats and discuss FB/Instagram/youtube/etc all going down for some unknown reason during super Tuesday? Is it Russia Russia Russia attacking our democracy, or evil African American, Elon Musk, attacking our democracy, or China attacking our democracy?
Wish you could have made it a bit more south into Fauquier County. I feel that we are more rural and the issues of Loudoun County are our current issues. Cool fact but in 1860 only one person voted for Abraham Lincoln and today the county votes overwhelmingly conservative.
I have family on Durette Mountain near Charlottesville. Mom was a pro-choice Reagan delegate in 1980 but left the party in 2016 over their opposition to gay marriage. Now she’s a solid Biden supporter. She’s Joe Biden’s age - 81 - but about 100x sharper, I talk politics with her and she has the rebuttal waiting before I even finish.
The math is easy one person voted conservative in 1860 and now the vast majority of the county votes that same way. You are probably right and that one person had a lot of kin that now vote conservative, cause that would make sense. 😆
You are correct, I conflated the use of conservative when my point was only one person was a Republican in 1860 and then flash-forwarding to today when almost the entire county votes republican. I probably shouldn’t have even mentioned conservative but I did using the lense of today to interpret yesterday metaphorically.
Yes. Pelosi chose him for that seat, biginning with a temporary black woman to impress us all, in order to actually put in a white man. Guess a lot of Californians fell for the ruse. Pelosi was afraid of Barbara Lee.
Since coming online in the 90's and voting for Nader in the first presidential election I was eligible to vote in, I don't remember the democratic veneer being so shabby. Where is the democracy vapors we've grown accustomed to? The illusion of choice has never seemed this flimsy.
Here's a question: A bit of a side bar here, Matt, but do you think that the timing of the roll-out of the Google Gemini "creativity tool" is any accident, given the conditions at this particular point in a historically crucial national election?
Yeah- I listened, and I was hoping that they could expand to the GG topic, because it is developing so rapidly every day. Yesterday, on YouTube, I listened to a virtually perfect speech by Malcolm X- that he never gave!
The YouTuber who produced the video was honest and up front about it, calling it "the speech that never was." There was nothing in it that Malcolm didn't say at one time or another. It included some statements that came from different interviews.
The point is, if a regular civilian can produce such convincing content, just think what some motivated political operatives can do, with the deliberate intention to deceive the voters.
We live in hyper-interesting times; we now have two GG's to talk about: Google Gemini and George Galloway!
“I Just Lied About Something” pins ran out in the House Gift Shop.
Sublime.
... Grift Shop.
“They’re our biggest seller!!”
Not hard to imagine Schiff telling his limo driver to angrily swing the car around into oncoming traffic for another shot at the dig.
I'll buy one if someone prints them up.

Yes! Is it too much to hope you might do the same for the State of the Dystopia on Thursday?
I would give you more hearts for "State of the Dystopia" if I could.

Yes, please.
Yeah Matt and Walter, this is a must.

03/05/24: The FBI just arrested all nine justices and charged them with J6 insurrection.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
I don't even care what you two talk about. I'd enjoy listening to it regardless.
Never disappoints.
Can you and
Walter say anything about RFK?
Imagine a successful scenario?
Articulate an obituary?
Always look forward to this, Matt. What are the phrases that tells me when I can slug down a shot of whiskey?
“Concerns about the president’s age”
“Insurrection”
“Our democracy”
Get ready for a rough morning tomorrow
Very good, Aaron S.
I better stock up on the cheap stuff and Oxy!
Existential?
Oh, that drinking game is fir the presidential election.

CNN: "The FBI today just issued orders to arrest all Americans suspected of sabotaging Russia's democracy."
Thank you, Matt and Walter, for doing the program this evening.

Too scary there with all that rural white rage and all.

Save time! Lead off with your counter-rebuttal to her rebuttal.

Lincoln was a republican, not a conservative southern democrat.

The picture of Schiff-ty is the best meme of the week so far! Looking forward to seeing and hearing you and Walter this evening, Matt!
Been working the polls in Pembroke Ma. R ballots being pulled 2 to 1 versus Democrat ballots with steady traffic all day.
Maybe you and Walt can start a betting pool on Victoria's next gig.
Loved the pin! I think Adam needs to upgrade to "I Lie About Everything" starting with where he actually lives.
"Toria" is going back to resume her old role as Nurse Ratched at the mental hospital part time.
Victoria Who? (No, not "Secret").
Nuland
You already made my day with your caption under the Adam Schiff photo - your election coverage will now just be gravy.

What for? It'll be more fun watching the nervous breakdowns on CNN and MSNBC.
Here's a question: A bit of a side bar here, Matt, but do you think that the timing of the roll-out of the Google Gemini "creativity tool" is any accident, given the conditions at this particular point in a historically crucial national election?
Listen to last Friday’s America this Week, Matt and Walter both speculated on that point.
