Finally, reporting again, Matt. More Ratchet less Racket! Kudos. I would just make two points. 1) to tell us that the FBI needs to go back what it ‘used to do’ during some supposed Golden Age— ‘gather information on criminals not people,’ defies believe and is pollyannish at best. The lesson is that law enforcement always needs to be monitored because there will ALWAYS be abuses, witness the character assassination efforts led by Hoover, especially against MLk and Malcolm X. 2) it bears mentioning who Kash Patel is, and to hold him as some sort of enlightened reformer is ‘bananas’ (to use Matt’s words). Patel has gotten where he is precisely by showing he will fall on his sword for Trump, and will go after his bosses enemies by any means necessary, including purging anyone who dares investigate DJT.
Great podcast and well done. Thanks for telling us how much work is being put into this by the FBI and Racket News.
One thing I find curious is that Ana Toledo, the lawyer for TargetedJustice, has known about the prohibited access files for a long time. I am wondering how she knew about them and many people, including long time FBI employees had no clue about them. I even think she had advised people to include the term in their FOIAs.
I have never gotten a positive response from the FBI when I FOIA them.
Just some feedback: can you make the video accessible directly on the website? It's mainly because I have Youtube, Substack, and Rumble blocked for avoiding distractions, and it's mainly your stuff that I'm able to access.
I really valued the way that ATW episodes were uploaded to the Podcasts app after being streamed/recorded. Hope the tradition carries through to these new shows.
Right there with you, bud. Not sure what exactly caused Walter to break it off. Definitely feeling the loss.
I work in the trades as well (assuming you do, based on your handle) and I spend quite a bit of time driving to/from jobs in different places. ATW was a really edifying and enjoyable way to redeem that time spent behind the wheel.
I haven’t even bothered trying to find any other content to scratch that itch for long-form political/cultural commentary. Those guys have unique perspectives rooted in decades of experience, as well as literary talent. You can’t just pick that up off the shelf.
That said, I’ll definitely give a listen to any other talk show that racket starts up. And likewise for WK.
I sure miss ATW with Matt and Walter
Walter helped move it along. And his divergences were interesting. This podcast could have been one quarter of its length.
Seriously big loss in life
It’s great that you’re going to field Qs on this. This kind of reporting is why I subscribed to Racket in the first place.
I’m looking forward to this!
Go Matt go💥
I hope this video will get posted after for those of us who can’t watch it live. I miss my twice a week racket podcasts!
Ryan needs a better microphone. He comes across slightly garbled.
I agree. It was a bit painful to listen to.
Where’s Walter?
I clicked on the comments to see if PC bots copy pasted comments about Walter's whatever.
Apparently it is only human bots who do that. Good to know
Will this be available to listen to after the fact?
You can watch on YouTube or Rumble, after the fact.
Twenty comments? Looks as if I'm not the only one missing Walter.

Are you going to post links later like you did with ATW?
I have not been able to locate the recordings of these. It used to be possible to watch America this Week after the broadcast.
Is that not possible under the new format?
I am wondering the same thing.

I miss ATW so much. I don’t know what caused Walter to split, but I hope he gets back in front of a microphone soon.
Losing ATW hurts.

Click on one of the links in the article. I’m watching on Rumble.
Weird, thought I’d tried that but maybe the problem exists between my chair and keyboard.
Thanks Keith!
Is this available to listen to afterwards?
💪
Here for it!!
