I knew from the first episode that these conversations will be one of the highlights of my weekends. Matt has such a broad range of knowledge and so many granular details of events and history and Walter (the only way I can describe it) paints vivid images with words. Between Matt's prep and incisive dissection and Walter's spot on emotional and societal reading of events, they really deliver worthwhile content. My only concern is that something derails the project before it becomes an institution (I am not ruling out gulags at this point). Thanks both for the efforts and sacrifices that were necessary to bring this about!

WTF, Matt? You've lived in New England. You know that Martha's Vineyard is not just Edgartown, West Tisbury, and Chillmark. There are quite reasonable accommodations in Oak Bluffs, a town originally settled by blacks after the Civil War. My wife and I have vacationed in MV many times and while it's a bit expensive and hoity-toity, in the aggregate MV is a diverse community with people of all incomes and backgrounds. And also a bunch of filthy rich people, but they stay generally out of your way.
