So the best I can offer is my anecdotal experience that this stuff appeared very suddenly on 4chan and other similar forums, that it was widely rejected and ridiculed as a government operation there. A small group of guys wearing a patch on the shoulder does not negate my claim--but I acknowledge my claim is hopelessly unfalsifiable.
No, and a lot of forums have since been shut down. You could still go to 4chan any time though, and just ask what they think of the Boogaloo Boys. The reaction I would expect is a lot of derision and people accusing you of being an FBI agent.
