I've always thought that. But there are more Independents now than people who belong to the two parties. How long can a system continue when the majority of people don't want anything to do with the political forces running the country? Maybe it can go on forever. I don't know.
We are still a long way from most people waking up to the fact that no matter who you vote for the wars will not end, the wealth transfer will continue, and Israel will continue to get a pass.

Totally agree. Hedges talks a lot about us being at the end of empire. He mentions the end of the dollar as more countries rebel.
