I was worried toward the end that the body count was beginning to rival that of "That Hideous Strength."
It was interesting seeing all the plotting, and the cynical use of true believers to basically just see how much damage could be done. It reminded me of Andy Ngo's writings on Antifa, which seems to recruit many who are mentally ill.
My version says the same as yours, Daniel, that Stavrogin expects no consequences. Mine also says that Matryosha was "in her twelfth year" and "looked altogether like a child."
Can you guys prepare a little better for these? Tons of dead air, fumbling for excerpts, and Matt throwing to Brad for comment only to have Brad say he has no comment. This is a huge drop off from the Matt-Walter chemistry.

Brad, in the version of Stavrogin's confession that I read, he does explain that he expects no legal consequences from disclosure.
