My family has been involved with UC Berkeley since 1904, at the professor level when my great grandfather started teaching there. He wasn't the first Jew to teach there, merely the second. And, quite sadly, I do not think he would be allowed to stay there at this time.

Tenured faculty have to do something really bad to get fired. Did your great grandfather steal?

Most influential…for their New Communist masters. These academics are mindless useful idiots for the deep state.

Thank you for your excellent reporting - and thank you so much for including all the raw data. True commitment to freedom of information involves allowing everyone to view source information and make their own conclusions.

"Evolving definition" of academic freedom? WTH is that? And is it more free or less free?

Ugh, what a soul-sucking experience wading through an endless stream of emails!

As a publicly funded university, UC had better watch the "reenvisioning" bullshit. DEI and tacit acceptance has been there under cover for decades and taxpayers have tolerated it based on reputation.
