I teach middle school in a predominantly Hispanic district in NJ. An informal poll of my students (80 Hispanic, 20% African American) indicated that their parents were voting for Trump by a 5-1 margin - Shocking! In 2020, same sample was 100% against Trump (not for Biden). The main reasons given were Harris doesn’t believe in God (remember the “you’re at the wrong rally” comment) and gas and groceries are too expensive and Trump’s gonna fix that.
Wow. If New Jersey electoral college goes 14 red for Trump, that would be awesome. I am following along with a “proposed” electoral map, and NJ usually goes blue. If NJ goes red, THAT would be a major upset for blue Demoncrats.
