About the WTF, just a guess.... The first two charges against Roush were having a gun while a paroled felon, and eliminating the serial number on the gun. To get him on an assasination attempt need some evidence that's why he was there. I had heard that in FL, an open carry state, Roush could have sat there all day on the outside of the fence on a public sidewalk craddling his AR 15 (by photos, that appears to be where he was, otherwise they would have hit him with trespassing and there were no holes in the fence). If stopped, he could have said, taking a walk and just resting here. After arrest, he could have said the same thing, claiming his gun was simply leaning on the fence (did SS overreact to seeing a muzzle? A few weeks ago everyone was saying the SS was incompetent, did it make them trigger happy? Good thing nobody was walking their dog past that spot on the sidewalk when he started shooting) and Roush could have claimed he got out of there when they started shooting at him. I think to quell that possible angle, releasing info that he did intend to shoot Trump seems like a good idea.
Seems the items collected from the snipers nest with his fingerprint was sufficient to sustain the charges. The entire letter encouraging others to complete the task did not need to be released. Evidently they don’t put much stock in the public need to know in the other cases.
«American voters are the dumbest people in the history of humankind»
Actually they are far from dumb: they are the worst grifters in quite a while, and as long as middle class "F*ck you! I got mine" people get their thanks to rapidly rising house prices and rents and stock market prices they are going to vote for more of the same, and "Screw everybody else!".
Ask your acquaintances: if the devil offered you a deal where the USA would become more democratic with fair elections, actually representative parties, full freedom of the press, but your house price and your 401k stock prices were halved, would you take it?
I would take it in a heartbeat, because what you left out of your anti middle class rant is the fact that house prices, rents, & stock market values are not the only things going up: the middle class & the working class are both harmed by rising prices on everything from gas to groceries.

The working class though are not making any money on stocks and property, and are losing a lot of money on rising housing costs as property prices go up and on lower wages that make stocks go up, and the middle class are making lots more money on stocks and property than they pay in higher inflation. And this has been happening since Reagan and Clinton, while inflation has only been happening for 2-3 years.
Neoliberalism has been the alliance between upper and middle class to pump up finance and property and stock profits at the expense of the lower classes, and now it is becoming authoritarian to repress "populism" which used to be called "the New Deal" in the distant past.

This. Catholic school gets shot up, but no need to release anything about the motivations of the shooter.
Here. What. Within 48 hours a letter saying, "Sorry I didn't finish the deed," or however it is phrased.
I am praying that the US voter sees through this and acts accordingly. If not, all is lost.
As I've oft repeated on these threads, American voters are the dumbest people in the history of humankind.

Looking at the photos, I believe the rifle is an SKS.
