Not sure why this is tolerated by ICE. I'd have no issue with water canons at this point. This hasn't been a peaceful protest since day 1. If illegal aliens or those being held due to assaulting cops want to not eat, that is their right with one caveat. If illegal aliens are refusing to eat, we should expedite their cases so they can be sent back to their home country more rapidly. Let's help them get the food they are accustomed to by returning them post haste.
I’ve read there was coordinated Signal (encrypted) chats to bring out the protesters in this case. Anyone performing investigative journalism on this front? Are any of these protesters being paid and if so, by who?
Unless it affects him adversely and directly like the COVID-19 Death Jab and Russia Gate censoring did, he probably won't touch it. That's because it doesn't fit his typical "left of center" narrative. IMHO, he's become a covert liberal "unbiased" narrative generator now that Walter isn't there to counterbalance him. My hope is that soft conservative Brad Pearce might step up to that role, albeit slowly, but it's literature only so far. His previous co-host unfortunately flung him visibly too far left, was somewhat unpredictably unstable and overshadowing him so he's apparently gone. Time will tell.
This is all Stephen Miller fault - the guy is a PsyOp - he takes an issue that has 80% support, and puts a policy in place where he looses 30%. These people came for jobs. But Trump won't touch the demand part of this curve. He has carve outs for Hospitality, Construction, and Farming to use illegal immigrants. He pardoned a guy that employed a thousand illegals in a chicken processing plants. Guess what happened when they stopped hiring illegals? They hired poor white and black locals for $5 above minimum wage. Much like Epstein - Trump doesn't want to hurt his friends.
Haha....a good Canadian peasant. Solid proletariat.
Ever since Ed Bernays and the US election of 1924.,
ALL POLITICIANS AND THEIR ADVISORS ARE PSYOPS.
There are no exception. Stephen Miller is merely a lieutenant for one side's psyops.
Western politics is all about psychological warfare, propaganda and mind control.
My cousin was a close colleague of Ed Bernays and worked with him on psychological warfare. Woodrow Wilson and the Rothschilds hired them to convince the peasants the Federal Reserve was good for them. It worked! LOL!
For WW2, my father's first cousin founded US OSS Political Warfare Executive, the real secret partner of Churchill's SOE, PWE. He was based in NYC with Bill Stephenson ("Intrepid") and in Canada at Camp X. His job was to keep the Americans under control and he certainly did. He was rewarded near the end of the war by becoming the first and only US born MI6 director. Before he died he told me "it's all a psyop, my dear boy The whole damn thing is designed to fool the peasants. Ed and I created a monster!"
And they have continuously fooled the peasants for almost a 100 years....that is until Trump went down the escalator. He's hated by all because he's been bursting the psyop.
If your TDS doesn't affect you too much, ask yourself: "Who is really driving Trump?" he was a good liberal until around 2014 and it's not the Israelis, for sure.
You should also consider the following hypothesis:
"Trump WANTED and planned to LOSE the 2020 election." Why?
These facilities do not exist because taxpayers are cruel or because they enjoy footing the bill. They are an unfortunate necessity.
Most Americans have no idea 1-1.5 million previously deported people people roam the US. They are not entitled to more due process, just immediate removal, again.
Another 1-1.5 million have Final Orders of Deportation. They had their day in Immigration Court and lost, yet refuse to exit the US, sometimes for years. They are not entitled to more due process, just a ride home.
Another 2 million entered outside a valid US Port of Entry. Absent exigent circumstances, unless they surrendered to Immigration in a timely fashion, they lost their ability to claim asylum, and are automatically headed home.
That is 4-5 million people. Before we arrive at migrant criminals, those that lied on their applications, and those who lack valid asylum claims. The last tranche encompasses the overwhelming majority of all asylum applicants, because poverty, domestic abuse and crime, are not now, nor have they ever been, valid reasons to claim asylum.
Cleaning up the mess, is much more difficult than creating it.
What if, instead of protesting, these activists donated food, supplies and other things to improve conditions? Blocking access seems counter-productive
The facility conditions were never the point but an excuse to "fight ICE". In the same fashion they protest building new facilities, they don't care if the existing ones are overcrowded.
I beg to differ. According to Google, "agitate" means "to move or stir something vigorously, to upset someone emotionally, or to campaign for social or political change."
The First Amendment is:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
As such, "agitate" used in the context of advocacy or other political action, is arguably active. That is, it's by definition not a logical argument but a political action.
That which these protesters [sic: agitators] could legitimately do is that which is boring and involves work: write up their thoughts in a coherent fashion as a workable piece of legislation (good luck with that!) and then strive to influence government action through the appropriate channels.
SPOILER ALERT: that's not the fun part! Screaming, biting, and throwing a fit is what it's all about.
THE PROTEST IS THE GOAL. They have no ideas, no solutions, no coherent plans.
Oh, and agreed on the need for a "pair" to be the active element here.
One of the mistakes of the 1960s was to take the mewling protests seriously. Children should be listened to but not necessarily humored.
I went to grad school at the University of Minnesota. Protesting is a cottage industry in Minnesota. It is no small coincidence that a significant portion of the turmoil of recent years originated there. Nobody cares -- they're in it for the protest!
The question I keep asking is why? Why are people agitating on behalf of people the rest of us will have to carry financially and worry about adding to even more crime. What is the true reason to protest for people who have no business being here, were not invited, are not wanted except by those who wish to turn this country into the biggest welfare state on earth, the Bolsheviks that start all chaos, fund all chaos, and actively want to destroy this nation. Why? Don't tell me people have the right to migrate, that's not a reason, that's an excuse.
It's not organic. These are paid professional protestors. Funded by billionaires and corporate interests. The kind of people and organizations that benefit from exploiting illegal migrant workers.
The point being is that the "why" is not a question to be posed to the people at the "protests" [sic: organized, pre-planned riots]. The "why" is known to the people planning and funding these activities.
2.) Said planning-and-funding parties seem to be following the phrase "The worse, the better" which I've heard associated with Vladimir Lenin but appears to have originated earlier with Nikolay Chernyshevsky:
The idea being that, the worse things become, the more likely that revolution will occur.
Now, my feeling is Chernyshevsky may have used this is somewhat sarcastic way but that he actually was hoping that things would improve for working people.
By way of contrast, I think there are forces at play -- the ones funding such activity -- that see chaos as a way of leading to collapse but not to be replaced by any improvement, any "worker's paradise" but to provide them with an opportunity to implement a totalitarian "utopia".
That is, get the annoying American experiment out of the way so that we can return to the way things used to be: no pretense, just absolute, centralized power.
Data Republican has tracked the funding and organization of these protestors down to minutiae. It’s frightening how much funding many of our “respected” Foundations and NGO’s are contributing to these protests. Protests are carefully orchestrated; they. not organic. It’s helpful to question, “Who benefits from illegals?” Why did Voter ID fail? Why isn’t MSM reporting Medicare, Medicaid & other govt fraud? Why did California legislature pass the Nick Shirley act to keep independent journalists from investigating fraud? Who is threatened?
Corporations benefit from cheap labor who can’t complain about safety condition, the DNC gets devoted voters by giving illegals benefits (housing, food stamps, medical care) and of course having them vote; the NGO’s/many sitting in Congress/Big Pharma do everything & anything simply to discredit Trump. Illegals take jobs & housing; most are decent people but they take limited resources. Legal immigrants who aren’t white get benefits & consideration under the guise of DEI & white privilege not even available to native citizens.
(Btw-I keep wondering if & when we’ll stop identifying non-white immigrants for special award for being “minorities”. White people comprise at most 11% of total world population. As far as I know there is no white minority protection offered anywhere in the world.
So, how do those cosplayers in keffiyehs, masks, deer antlers, with rainbow flags help to bring better food and medications to the facility? By blocking vehicles? But video games and the internet are so boring compared to the real adventure...
No mention of the training and logistics or the outside agitators. No discussion of billionaire funders. Just a lot of edited, purportedly neutral, images. Little visual context.
Baloney sandwiches and terrible Kool-Aid are good enough for 10s of thousands of Americans across the USA enjoying free room/ board courtesy of the Government.

Datarepublican has tracked this issue of paid protestors and the organizing of and for them.
Wonder why Tiabbi doesn’t touch this? Or has the Racket done so and I missed?
"Wonder why Taibbi doesn’t touch this"
Don't think you've missed it, IMHO.

I think Cam Higby has been doing some of this work.
I went to datarepublican and found nothing there on the Newark rioters / protesters. https://datarepublican.com/
It's not tolerated by ICE. It is tolerated by the municipality and the State police. At least right up to when it isn't.
That certainly isn't happening soon enough. We need to get those morons out of there, this is causing too much news coverage.
If they are wanting more authentic food...I know where they can easily get it.
The monthly menus are posted online.
Mark meant in their native countries
LOL! It's an organized insurgency!
Only in America
do illegal aliens feel empowered
to complain about food and living conditions
that are better than in their home countries
... and yet the supposed enlightened behind this policy teach "gratitude" as a step in evolving --- me thinks it does not compute😡

and childish.
Do u think for a moment that ANY 'protest' of the last ~2 decades has had any such goal involving some sort of improvment? Of ANYTHING?
Its ALL paid larping under the guise of 'resistance'...from those who are the most privileged in human history.
That makes wonderful sense, but doesn’t give them the opportunity to bite ICE agents.
Ah, yes. I forgot about the importance of biting for these vultures.
Interesting piece on the money and organizations behind this “protest”.
https://substack.com/@datarepublican/note/p-200394116?
100%. Matt T should be following this angle.
Fuck these "protestors". Bring back night sticks. AKA Billy clubs. Crack heads, knees, ribs. Then sweep them up and confine them to cells.
Time to grow balls.
Agitators is more accurate.
“agitating” is plausibly a First Amendment” protected activity. Violent interference is not. Billy clubs are needed. Time to grow a pair b

Yes and no.

Two points:
1.) Check out the article by Data Republican shared by others (who I thank -- it's very thorough):

I have never understood why I should change my behavior because some criminals refuse to eat.
Why would I pass this b.s. on. There is no hunger strike and they are getting fed 3 meals a day. This is just more democrat lies.
There are a few that don’t like their meal choices. About which I don’t care at all.
The menus are posted online.
Thanks, I just took your advice and looked them up. They are more varied and interesting than my college dining hall, for which my parents paid.
these folks don’t give a shit about immigrants at all.
this is solely about Trump and revenge for the election.

White minority protection is called "good government".
Now under threat everywhere.

Baloney sandwiches and terrible Kool-Aid are good enough for 10s of thousands of Americans across the USA enjoying free room/ board courtesy of the Government.
Why isn't that good enough for the "Illegals"?
