Has anybody ever looked into that supposed ‘white nationalist patriot front’??? I don’t buy it. They look like actors paid for by SPLC faking white supremacy.

DarkSkyBest's avatar

The SPLC needed a fundraiser for upcoming legal expenses.

I just looked at the video and they're 100% fake. I'd say most likely government assets cosplaying -- but so unconvincingly. The dockers are a dead giveaway.

Right?!?!

Matt, we want an investigation into these posers

Mike Bski on X recently posted what seems to be a well researched article on this subject.

Very interesting. So, it seems that they are not Feds, but OTOH they are the fringe of a fringe group with an absurdly small membership. Not likely to be too much of a threat, really, however odious their credo may be. Thanks for the info.

Thank you for this!

They have the quiet discipline of agents. They also have the look and fitness of agents.

There is no such thing as an uncensored video - it is inherently a product of the choices of where to point the camera and what to edit out.

I certainly would not want the job of sifting through mind-numbing endlessly boring monotony searching for something worth publishing. I'm sure they record hilariously unprintable stuff, so hopefully the editor didn't see it already and gets a laugh or two, but it's street activism. Street protests are street protests, the only things that differ are the size, the level of violence and the level of creativity, and no one knows what is going to take place where. It's weird, but it's kind of like blaming Zapruder for not being in the right spot, or not having a 2nd camera filming elsewhere.

To call it “Tump’s America” is to concede a crucial point.

How would the 250 celebration have looked if Kamala would have won the White House?

Skenny's avatar

Good question. It's a safe bet that it would include guys in high-heels and pink tutus.

I would say THE crucial point. The President is our employee. America is the people and if we give up that mindset, it's our nation's funeral not birthday.

Thank you Ford Fischer and News2Share. Great stuff, as always! What's striking is the number of white middle-class Americans wearing signs that say Blacks, Venezuela, Haitian Immigrant, etc, and men wearing "Women" signs.

It was good to see the cops move in on the flag burning - what's the quickest way to start a riot on an American street? You know it! And the black dude with the awesome fro is wrong. Once those people stop moving, they can be considered to be loitering and that's illegal. Here's what seems to be the problem with those people:

Is it any wonder? I've got too much time on my hands

It's tickin' away with my sanity

I've got too much time on my hands

It's hard to believe such a calamity

I've got too much time on my hands

And it's tickin' away, tickin' away from me

OK, what WAS the point of this video? Did we learn anything from it? I have my doubts.

Sea Sentry's avatar

Agree. It was a weak splicing of inconsequential events. The anti Trump protestors mostly came across as a bunch of unhinged loonies.

Ollo Gorog's avatar

The point is to record the actual goings on during street activism, and the viewer to take from that what they will. It appears to me that's what you did.

Ollo Gorog's avatar

The point of Activism Uncensored, lies in the name itself.

Any nation of millions of people is bound to have quite a few with poor reasoning powers and bad judgment. In America, they're free to publicly vent the convictions arising from their incapacity without suffering any official censure, provided they aren't disruptive to the point of endangering others. This tolerant policy results in some bizarre demonstrations, but people who grasp its vital importance accept freedom's risks and wouldn't have things any other way.

EGTuna's avatar

It’s enough with the chanting. Go ahead and protest if you have the time and no other obligations, but can the chanting be retired, please?

Danno's avatar

How can Ford Fischer even take the "Patriot Front" seriously? They're obviously fake -- from their stupid slogans and half-baked philosophy to their phony cheap "uniforms" (excepting some genuine military accessories!) they scream "government agents" to anyone with experience, reasoning ability, and observational skill. Okay, I guess that rules out about 90% of American adults.

Ollo Gorog's avatar

Book 'em, Danno! Yeah, they piqued my curiosity. Their demeanor is unique. I know absolutely nothing about them, and I'm not yet compelled to read up.

EDIT: I just pulled the following from Matt Taibbi's additional note: "Ford has done a lot of prior work on the Patriot Front and for those wondering, his depiction of them as a real white nationalist group is grounded in that research."

That's good enough for me, for now at least.

Bicentenial March-1976

July 4th, 1976 protest march and rally in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Starts with a bus trip of one (mostly Puerto Rican) contingent from Humbolt Park, Chicago. Officials in Philadelphia sent up fear riot alarms, especially in African-American community march was routed through_away from downtown, where President Gerald Ford was. Super-8 movie includes still images of the welcome given protesters lead by AIM (Native Americans). All was peaceful and festive.

History..History..History.

Meanwhile, 99.9% of the people fired up their BBQ's, displayed flags, rode in small town parades and chilled out on the beach or pool in the hot weather.

The report focused on the .1%, the Karens, the narcisissts, the egomaniacs, and the political savant idiots only because the rest of the country doing the right thing which was boring by exercising real patriotism. Don't be misled and brainwashed into thinking the majority of this country was protesting. The Bolsheviks are a minority, folks, a real minority magnified by journalism and supported by electoral "irregularities".

I was amused by why so many women screaming pre-developed chants and jingles. In Philadelphia it's clear they wanted the police to intervene so they'd had some good movie footage of violence and arrests on the 4th of July.

This was biased reporting, but understandably so because not being biased and delivering true good journalism is boring and won't be acceptable for left leaning news operations. There is no good journalism. There never has been good journalism and reporting. It's all shock theater scenes with chants and jingles to brainwash and capture weak minds hollowed out and made subservient by years of agitprop propaganda.

The only true honest journalist was Hunter S, Thompson, who exposed the hypocrisy and cynicism of journalism and political writing by calling it what it is...."Gonzo Journalism".

Real patriots don't scream chants or allow themselves to be corrupted or manipulated by others (the SPLC) like the Patriot Front. They chill and enjoy their lives until it's time to act and possibly shed their blood for the future of their children.

This was great work, very interesting and engaging.

My favorite part was toward the end when the guy who had been taking about overthrowing America starting raging about the violation of First Amendment freedoms of religious observation and expression after the police intervened to prevent the activists from burning the American flag. Classic!

Thanks to Ford Fischer/News2Share.
