You assume that the American government will negotiate with private big pharma for drug cost savings. Where in hell would you derive that expectation given the current reality? Have you read the WSJ expose on all the politicians and government officials that traded in advance of pandemic-related policies? $15 per jab paid for by the government... the same government that mandates the jab or else you get fired from your government job, or otherwise cannot do many things the government can control.

You don't seem to be following the real money very well here. It is our American corporatist system. Big business LOVES big government and visa versa.

We see this common behavior from the large corporations virtue signaling one media identity while supporting only those policies that would improve their consolidation of market share and return more profit and more value to owners. What better move than to lock in a big government contract!?

The problem with your narrative is that Medicare already negotiates lower drug prices than private health insurance companies.

On top of that every country around the world that has Single Payer pays less than the US...

So your excuse is not going to fly... Medicare proves you wrong.

But keep on making up excuses. Pharma is paying propaganda sources like FOX and Ben Shapiro to convince you we can never have a health care system that is already up and running in the US. Big Pharma pays a lot to get you to think the way you think.
