I didn't appreciate Monty Python the first time around. I just didn't 'get it'. Then I saw 'Holy Grail' and couldn't stop laughing out loud. Now I'm rewatching what I missed that's available on YouTube. As I said, they were ahead of their time. Cheers!
See…we can find common ground! I’m of the age I saw all the movies in theaters, more than once. And watched the tv show religiously, often with friends . So damned funny! Good times. And yes, I am amazed to realize, now, how ahead of their times they were.
Miss them terribly. I'm having trouble finding anyone today that compares. Granted, times have changed. But (back to the topic of Matt's post) even Robbins sees, finally, the futility of group-think. It's not as 'inclusive' as some want to believe.
