Also I assure you that the hundreds of thousands or millions of slave girls who don't even exist on paper aren't sharing in any "prosperity", not to mention the millions of minorities in concentration camps.

Because communism has a bunch of meaning that has nothing to do with rich people welding moral panic to enrich their power. More accurate just to call them TOTALITARIAN. And why not? That word is even more freighted with historical misery than "communist", and nobody should be defending it.

Are you asserting this is not present in the US as well? Last I checked, the US was riding at about 1.4 slaves per 1000 free (as of 2018).
China is about double that, but is the best on slavery by far relative to other countries in the region.
