Centralized power will out compete Diversified power.

But Diversified power will outlast Centralized power.

I think that's a law of nature or something.

I think the key is to recognize what centralized power provides for competing. It seems a unified vision? What if we can form decentralized networks with unified visions, then would it out-compete?

Just things to think about; I’m sure someone has done good research on this.

I think it is a paradox for sure. Amazon is highly successful but it comes with a terrible cost too--hidden externalities. In theory a centralized system could deal effectively with the problems--if there was the will. But under capitalism there is no reason to be concerned with externalities. Profit is the only objective.

Amazon is only successful if your measure of success is growth and monopoly. It is otherwise regarded pretty widely as a huge disaster.
