1. Admit it: it's a proxy war between the U.S./NATO and Russia (whole purpose being to weaken Russia).

2. They don't give a SHIT about Ukraine, despite all the high-minded declarations; they're a sacrificial lamb. Their aim is to defeat Russia (which won't happen, BTW, even if they--Russia--don't win) by fighting to the last Ukrainian, while no Americans will suffer so much as a paper cut.

Even when Ukraine is pretty well destroyed, that becomes yet another long-range money-making opportunity to the vultures who will "rebuild" the country.

Listen to John Mearsheimer on this issue.

"Democratic"?? Zelensky is legally out of office yet still presiding. The Ukrainians are doing everything possible to outlaw anything Russian (and remember that a large minority of the population is Russian-speaking and Russian-affiliated): the Orthodox Church, media outlets, schools. Democratic my ass.

Thank you, George. If we are not to be blindly led into WWIII, it is essential that more Americans understand this history, these facts.

The Ukraine constitution doesn't allow elections during war. And the Russian Orthodox Church, led by Kiril a former KGB man, was acting as a spy nest in Ukraine. Please get informed about Ukraine and its people's struggle against becoming part of Russia. Men in eastern Ukraine were turned into cannon fodder and when Kherson was liberated they found 23 Russian torture chambers. The brutality has been horrific.

Note: If Ukraine falls, its men will be forced to fight for Putin. Perhaps you think its Europe's business? This time around, due to NATO commitments the U.S. will have to fight even without a Pearl Harbor.
