Last night Racket published “New NPR Chief Katherine Maher’s Guide to the Holidays,” a calendar tour through the mind of the new head of National Public Radio. A trusted reader called to note an additional absurdity. The detail has fresh significance with this morning’s news that senior editor Uri Berliner was formally suspended after dumping a load of NPR’s dirty laundry in The Free Press last week, indirectly triggering the Maher brouhaha.
