I have an idea for a Babylon Bee style fake news item:
"President Trump, claiming that he has positive proof that former president Barack Obama was not born in the U.S., has given an order to deport him as an illegal alien. Obama will be sent to Kenya if they'll have him, or to Guantanamo Bay for holding pending determination of his final destination. Trump said Obama's wife and daughters may remain in the U.S."
Lol, that would be a good one! Though I never understood why Obama never played the best card he had on "birtherism": "It doesn't matter if I was born in the US or not - My mother was, so I'm a natural-born citizen either way." A child of one US citizen parent is a citizen so long as the one parent spent 5 or more total years in the USA and 2 of those years were when older than 14 years old.
Kelly - that's an excellent thought and I've thought the same thing. It must happen with people in the military all the time. But his mother had a unusual career and he doesn't talk about her much. I have my own theories about who she worked for. I think Obama was groomed to be President from a young age. I have the same feeling about Bill Clinton. I knew someone who went to college with Clinton and they said he didn't go to class - just read the text book and took the tests and got A's. He is a smart guy, no question about it. Still, something doesn't seem right. Both Obama and Clinton were raised by single mothers, both only children except for step-siblings. I don't know the answer, but my "groomed for President" theory might be a thing.
