I wish my memory were better, I might recall the origin of a wonderful analysis of how the Ivy League schools exist to solidify the hold the Elite class holds on governmental and managerial positions. They meet, network, intermarry and keep the money and power right where (they think) it belongs.
It was by someone much more familiar with that class than I was, am or would ever want to be. Anyway, it was convincing enough that it stuck with me...except for the author, title and source lol.
