A bigger deal than pardoning Hunter is the fact that California is STILL COUNTING VOTES. Check out the “ballot curing” laws in various states. https://ballotpedia.org/Ballot_curing_rules_by_state,_2024

American Spectator had a column on this today, and I saw a video of some connected CA relative (of Newsom, Pelosi, I don't remember) filming a selfie bragging she was on her way to go find some more votes ---- like, a few days ago. Corrupt.

Matt, who I respect immensely, is having a hard time letting go and swallowing the red pill . Walter is making it clear that we have all been lied to for sooooo long by the media, and the Washington political mafia. It’s sad hard to digest after a lifetime of thinking you were on the right side of history.

Yes!! My thoughts exactly! I have commented several times on that very subject. Matt is very much invested in " Democrat cult thinking". Perhaps hanging with Walter will transform/cure his thinking. "Hope Springs Eternal"

Oh yeah, and don’t forget the sweetheart plea deal between DOJ and Hunter’s attorneys that fell apart after a judge reviewed it and saw it was extremely unusual in size and scope. The judge had questions no one wanted to answer.

I will be more generous to the Biden crime family than they deserve and concede that Hunter's fame made it more likely that things he did would become national news and force the authorities to at least pretend to act. However if any of us did the same things with such copious evidence, we would've received far worse treatment. The Secret Service wouldn't have tried to hide evidence, the DOJ wouldn't have let the statute of limitations lapse on the worst of it (whoopsie!), and we wouldn't have been offered a plea deal so sweeping and unprecedented it couldn't survive rudimentary questions from the judge.

I've wondered for some time now why anyone would risk their career, reputation, and dignity for Joe Biden. He is and always has been an unimpressive, unintelligent, self-serving, insecure prick. The attachment to him (and the flip-side-of-the-coin hatred for Trump) is pathological.

Can we just agree ahead of time to not make fun of this amazing example of A FATHER"S LOVE?

So Hunter was a hooker humping, influence peddling crackhead with the ethics of a Wall Street executive, that is no reason to exile him from the herd.

In fact, only through love, emotional micro-manipulation & total amnesia can we hope to heal the abyss like wound that rends the soul of L'Amerique.

Let us reflect on the immortal words of Richard Nixon. His "I am not a crook!" defenestration of reason left us gasping & spent. Our almost erotic hatred satiated enough to allow the old boy to walk off into the sunset, head held high with his widow's peak intact.

Can we do any less for Hunter Biden?

Of course not.

@Mrs. McFarland

All I've heard is that Biden's first wife (Neilia Hunter Biden) and their three children pulled out in front of a semi truck, Neilia (and daughter Naomi) died in the resulting accident, while Beau and Hunter were injured but survived.

What are you trying to to say re: "issues"/circumstances of Naomi's death?

Expand full comment
Mrs. McFarland's avatar

Well, the big lie is that Joe Biden for decades until his 2020 run would often reference that his wife and daughter were killed by a “truck driver who chose to drink his lunch.” But what I’m referencing is that his wife had learned that her husband had been begun having an affair with Jill Jacobs Stevenson having met a political fundraiser. Her ex husband says the two met in 1972, Jill Biden says it was 1975… which is funny because that is the year or 76 when I had the fairly new Senator on a flight where he got overly frisky with Stewardess me. Anyway, if true, that fact could be a smoldering ember for Hunter… and the rumor , yes, only a rumor, is that both Hunter and his stepsister Ashley, do not like their mother.

Walter, you were right about Rachel Maddow taking quotes out of context. But it's worse than you might expect because 4 days prior to Rachel's video, the producer blogged that the soundbites shouldn't be taken literally and he knew what they really meant.

This is a perfect case study of how the Rachel Maddow Show knowingly frightened her audience with a speculative theory that they knew was unfounded.

President Biden, numerous surrogates, and a compliant media repeatedly stated:

-no one is above the law.

-he would not pardon Hunter.

-he would make the wealthy “pay their fair share”.

-wanted increased firearms restrictions.

So now he has pardoned Hunter, including offenses such as FARA violations, income tax evasion, and lying on a firearms background check. Biden has even included potential offenses not yet charged going all the way back to 2014. There is zero self awareness by all of them. The irony level has broken the scale. It’s shameful and corrupt!
